Our family business originated over 35 years ago with my grandfather. Over time, we have transformed from a basic repair and diamond dealer to a comprehensive custom design jewelry maker in NYC. Despite our growth, we remain dedicated to our original mission: delivering high-quality products that bring joy to our customers without breaking the bank."

Unlike most jewelry found in retail stores or online, custom jewelry is totally unique and is developed for a client to meet their specific preferences. When people come to us looking for custom jewelry, they are looking to create a unique piece, such as an engagement ring.

Your piece will come with an appraisal certificate from an independent jewelry appraiser.  The appraisal includes the cut, color, clarity, and carat weight for diamonds or gemstones. Metal used (Gold, Platinum etc.). It will include the retail replacement value so in case of loss, theft, or damage your insurance company will give you an equal replacement of your item. Ask one of us on recommendation for getting an insurance for your jewelry piece
Typically it takes 4-6 weeks once the design is approved. But since each piece is unique there is no way to know exact time unless we are done the design. We are a small team and you will work with one individual from start to finish so that you are kept updated at all times.
Finest quality diamonds and other precious gemstones. All metal used is gold and platinum. We also do special order for using Hypoallergenic metal alloys 
Our pieces are made to shine and last forever. However wearing jewelry in water such as pool, shower or beach can diminish the shine of your piece. Vajra Designs is proud to offer FREE jewelry cleaning and inspection for any piece of jewelry. It's a good idea to do this every six months. Also if the jewelry has had a lot of wear (scrathces and dents) from usage we recommend getting it re-polished and finished for a nominal charge. However we recommend this once in 1-2 years

Custom Jewelry is created specifically for you hence all sales are final. However if there are modifications/ changes required we will do our best to make sure you are completely satisfied with your jewelry piece
Absolutely. All of us have jewelry pieces in our closet that are not used for variety of reasons (inheritance, grown out of, emotional detachment). Whatever your reasons we will get you an accurate estimate for your jewelry and help you buy something you like or just get you cash if you need that
